Android Boxes?
|
Looking for some help with these things?
A bloke was telling me yesterday about how I should get one and he could pretty much access anything for about £50 per less.
He mentioned something called Kodi, Quad and fully loaded plus some other technical stuff but I was a bit pissed and can't remember the specifics.
I know topic has been discussed on here before, but would appreciate any guidance or recommendation on what I should be looking for and where from e.g.E-Bay v Amazon as I read earlier that Amazon have stopped selling certain products or something.
Cheers
RJ

You need to download two add-ons, Dutch Cloud TV & Dutch Sports Streams. This step by step guide shows what needs to be done. https://seo-michael.co.uk/tutorial-how-to-install-dutch-sports-streams-kodi-xbmc/
I use Zeus, although not as much as the others. Gorilla Streams is another handy add-on for TV and movies.

Not strictly related to this but in a round about way I guess it could be. I want to stream/download via Chromecast if possible, Fear the walking dead on AMC/BT, not having any luck though, can anyone help point me in the right direction please?

This season been watching the football on NBC good as gold ( I actually prefer coverage to SKY's).... in fact it's far less tempermental (buffering wise) than Sports Donkey... no VPN set up just password from the droidsticks I imagine??
Best I have found for films that rarely lets me down is Genesis...

You need to find someone in the US willing to sell or give you their login details. Ive been trying since they got it working again in June but no luck yet.

Smart DNS wasn't so bad to set up and worked perfectly for me. VPNs are usually shite though. Hopefully they sort a workaround for the login soon, or people in the US start selling their login details.

NBC still works fine if you can obtain a login.

Its just a shame that NBC sport live has stopped working on Kodi as that was pretty mint.

Yeah, if you download showbox as well then you pretty much guarantee either will be working at any one time, they both do go down every now and then so with both you will be fine.

start reading up on Kodi as it is quite confusing to start with but once you get the hang of it, its a doddle.

Yes its a good one made and pretty future proof.
I would recommend getting the bluetooth keyboard as well. It will make doing things on it much easier than a clumsy remote. I got a the really cheap £8 one, I'm on my second android box after i upgraded from a cheap one but the keyboard has lasted me since the beginning.

Cheers mate...I'm using the Apple TV via the I-Pad, but jail-breaking isn't an option as it's a work's one.
I think I'm going to go for this (X8-H-Plus):
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Minix-Neo-X8-H-Plus-Amlogic-XBMC-Smart-Core-Quad-TV-BOX-Free-A2-Lite-Mouse-UK-/151741677476?hash=item2354823fa4
A little bit more expensive, but should do me long term, has Kodi etc pre-installed and the remote looks better (keyboard facility) unless I'm wrong.
The X7/X8 are slightly cheaper, but I think the extra £20 might be worth it.
I'm not missing anything obvious here am I and this will be fine?
Cheers

The last AppleTV to support downloads was the AppleTV 2. However, theres still plenty of support and updates for kodi on jailbroken iPhones, iPads and iPods
